Structural bonding | with large shotmeter

Accurate & secured dispensing of adhesive on carbodies for a robotic manufacturing process.

Description

The robotic system dispenses 1K adhesive accurately with an electrical shot meter, using a FiFo (First In / First Out) setup to avoid dry material sticking inside. The dosing unit design makes it fast & easy to change any component for maintenance teams.

The control cabinet manages the dosing unit, the dual ram unit pumping station, and any heating zone required to maintain material viscosity stable during dispensing.

Last but not least, the vision system secures your application process by monitoring all process data linked to the real adhesive bead on parts.

Main benefits

Perfect quantity and position of adhesive

Repeatable application by robot
Never stop process with continuous supply from dual ram unit

Monitor your application with the vision control system

Stitch bead with fast valve

  • Struggling with 2K paint mixing?

Stop wasting paint, time, and resources with outdated methods. Manual 2K paint application can be messy, wasteful, and time-consuming. But it doesn't have to be.

Automated mixing and dosing solutions bring consistency, reduce material loss, and streamline the process—so you can focus on delivering quality results.

    More Details:

Discover a Smarter Way to Apply 2K Coatings — The hidden drawbacks of traditional 2K paint application professionals using two-component coatings often deal with:

Unreliable Mixing – Incorrect ratios can cause curing problems and poor adhesion, leading to rework.

Short Pot Life – Wasted paint and clogged equipment are common, increasing downtime.

Excessive Cleaning – Frequent solvent flushing increases costs and raises environmental concerns.

Manual Errors – Skilled operators are essential, but even they aren’t immune to mistakes.

    How Automation Changes the Game:

Accurate Mixing on Demand – Perfect ratios every time, with less material loss.

Cleaner Equipment – Less cured paint in the system means fewer maintenance headaches.

Reduced Solvent Usage – Automated rinsing cuts waste and improves regulatory compliance.

Repeatable Quality – Consistent performance ensures top-tier finishes on every job.

Still mixing 2K paint by hand? It might be time to calculate the real cost of waste, downtime, and rework. Talk to us about upgrading to an automated mixing and dosing solution.

    - Automation-Ready – Increase production capacity by over 30% with minimal effort.
If you're looking to improve productivity, reduce waste, and achieve a flawless finish, Airmix® technology is the solution. Let’s explore how it can optimize your process.
  • How to select the correct tips of my Airmix® sprayer?

The first two digits XX show the caliber of the orifice, directly linked to the flow rate.
The following digits YY, are related to the width of the spray pattern at the standard distance of 25cm (10in).
The digit Z defines the type of paint and fan geometry: Water based, solvent-based, or assymetric solvent-based (assymetric fan – same width as a standard one but the flow of paint is higher on one side (70%) than on the other (30%)).
For example, apply 0.6L/min at 120 bar of water-based paint with a spray pattern of approximately 25 cm.
XX -> Caliber #09 will deliver the appropriate flow rate at 120 bar.
YY -> Width #11 for a spray pattern of 25 cm.
    Z -> #2: Xtra™ fine finish tip for water-based materials.
The part number of the tip will be: 134.5XX.YYZ
    134.509.112
